Why I do what I do...

Every year, I look for ways to give. I started Good Deeds People aka GDPeeps to help both children and adults get food when they are hungry and toys during the Christmas season. The organization was founded in 2015. GDPeeps has over 60 volunteers who eagerly help distribute food all year throughout greater Indianapolis, and who help to shop, organize and distribute toys every Christmas. While we know that Christmas isn't about toys in general, it is a way to bring STEM toys and gifts that encourage self-esteem to children who are in at-risk families and or environments.

Be sure to donate or collect toys and our volunteers will coordinate to get the toys and get them all wrapped and ready for a special child or children at Christmas. Our annual sponsors are Wal-Mart our most generous sponsor. Secondly, Meijer, our most consistent sponsor and Target, third most consistent sponsor.
